Kevin Saville is an Associate at Sussex Circle. He has worked with the firm since 2002. Kevin possesses over 25 years of organizational leadership and management experience. A fluently bilingual native of Quebec City, he has successfully developed for his former employers and current clients a number of innovative and integrated approaches related to a) policy and program development and renewal, b) strategic and operational results-based planning, c) organizational design and redesign and d) communications and public consultation.
A trusted advisor to Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Senior Executives and his clients, Kevin is known for his solid judgement, diplomacy, strategic skills and the leadership he has provided in a variety of complex settings, including the Government of Canada, the Government of Quebec, and the Montreal Board of Trade. His areas of expertise include integrated strategic and operational results-based planning, organizational and program design and renewal, communications and public consultation, and executive leadership development and coaching.
Before joining Sussex Circle, Kevin was the Assistant Deputy Minister of Communications at Human Resources Development Canada. In addition to his experience with the Government of Canada, Kevin served as President of the Government of Quebec's Commission de protection des droits de la jeunesse. In this capacity he oversaw the quality of services provided to children by the province's youth protection, rehabilitation, and health networks. Kevin also served as the Vice-President and General Manager of the Montreal Board of Trade, where he designed and implemented a wide variety of economic and social policy initiatives.
In addition to working with Sussex Circle, Kevin teaches at l’École Nationale d’Administration Publique (Gatineau Campus). He holds undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Social Work from McGill University and has completed his course work towards a Masters degree in Public Administration from Queen's University. Kevin is also trained in executive coaching.
